Description
Chlorogenic acid (CGA) is a hydroxycinnamate, a family of naturally occurring organic compounds. CGA is found in plants but green coffee bean is remarkably rich, up to approximately 10% on dry basis.
Characteristics
1. Raw material is unroasted green coffee bean to keep the original content of CGA from roasting process.
2. CGA is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, DMSO, and dimethyl formamide. The solubility of CGA in these solvents is approximately 25 mg/ml.
3. Chlorogenic acid can be hydrolyzed in alkaline condition or at high temperature and becomes green. 4.Non-GMO, non-irradiated, non-allergen and gluten free ingredients. 5. Suitable for Vegetarians, Jews and Muslims. |
Bio
· Weight loss ingredient as a natural resource.
· Anti-bacterial by disrupting the bacterial membranes such as Salmonella.
